The packages with "retail" in file name are probably the ones you want. The retail method does not require Interop unlock. 1. Download retail package(s) to phone. 2. Put phone in developer mode (settings -> for developers) 3. Tap the file in File Explorer app on phone, and confirm install 4. Once installed. check for updates in the Store. Retail packages are also available on onedrive: http://1drv.ms/1Oix4sO Remove .zip extension if downloading from the forum.

Are these apps in any way hacked? Because I tried the same way with Lumia Camera 4.9.4.1 downloaded from Microsoft's server and it does't work. I get "End of Central Directory record could not be found"          

You can't sideload xap/appx downloaded directly from the Store. Have a try Lumia Camera from first post.          

And where did you get this app from?

Valeu, fricosule. Those app are instaled on the phone and from programs directory are copied unencripted. So easy.

Google Play Store for ASUS Zenfone 2 - ZE551ML

Hi, I've seen some posts on how to add Google Play Store on my chinese version of the Zenfone 2. However, can some one please walk step by step on how to do it? All I saw was "Transfer it to the phone and enable unknown sources...Install apk normally.." - but - I don't know where it needs to go and how to install it? The file I received was "com.forfun.ericxiang-1.apk" Thank you          

1. Copy your file to Internal storage or SD card 2. Go to SETTING >> SECURITY >> UNKNOWN SOURCES enable it. 3. Go to your copied file (base on step 1 where you copied file internal or sd card) and then install it          

Thank you. So I did the first 2 steps. Can you please explain step 3? Do I double click on the APK file? I currently have it on the Internal Storage - by itself and not in the folders listed          

On an Android device you don't "double click" anything. You tap once on the file. Then a prompt will appear with a list of all the permissions the APP wants to access to and you can choose between installing it or not.          

Thanks. I can't "tap" it because it's a file in my Internal Storage. I can only see the file on my computer. What do I need to do to have it appear on my Zenfone 2 as a "tappable" icon or something? Sorry - I'm new to this phone...

I think that method of installing of play store on CN version won't work...... Just Google for Google installer apk. Use it to install play store and Google services framework. Then update these both to the latest versions. Any other Google apps can be installed directly from playstore. Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk

Can anyone help me install Lumia Selfie App on Windows Phone 10 Preview?

I'm trying to install Lumia Selfie.xap file through file explorer in the phone, have also enabled developer mode. But it throws up this message: Lumia Icon running WP10 Preview build 10512.

is there a way to remove the app, and keep it off the phone, it seems the store keeps wanting to install/update the app and keeps failing error 0x80070057 but haven't found a way to prevent it from installing yet. either.. ##edit## nevermind, I for now successfully uninstalled Lumia Selfie ######

Help! remove pending install

I have this on my phone (see attached file) I can't remove it. I even try the store trick. but it doesn't work. Is there another way? TIA!          

Your phone is interopunlocked? You could try to sideload the xap or install the appx of this application.          

Yup, its interop unlock. My problem is how to get the appx file for that app.

I think u need to be on the skip a head. But initially, that app can be downloaded even if you are on fast ring build. Then they change it. Thats why i got the pending issue.          

I manage to get the appx file. Then tried to sideload it. But got the same result.          

I had the same issue with old twitter app when I recently updated to W10M. The new version didn't replaced the WP8.1 version and old one was shown as 'Pending'. So I sideloaded the old WP8.1 xap and then it managed the corrupted files. And then uninstalled it. The ultimate solution when nothing works is Reset, even though this is a very small issue          

I don't want to reset my phone. BTW, if I reset my phone that is interop unlock, will it remain unlocked?          

No, you will have to interop unlock it and apply those registry edits you have modified (except the cab files) again. Try sideloading xap/appx and uninstall it. I understand even if you can leave it off, it feels so bad and you cannot forget it.          

I will think about resetting my phone. Btw, I did try sideloading the appx file. but unfortunately, It didn't work. RE: xap deployer., I can't make it work. It is not detecting my phone.          

The appx must to be copied to phone and ten click on it. Or install using device portal. CAn you upload the appx to this topic?

HI All I'm upset. Reinstalled my back up of WM10 10586.164 on my Lumia 1520 and the above apps are not available anymore. As I'm new to all this I could do with advice to try and install them somehow as they are the best apps on the market at the moment and the stock maps app suggested I walk home instead of a bus I know. You forgot to say that you need to check install from non-market resources in app settings. That might be important for a new person to know as well. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

Actually In my HTC Wildfire, the checkbox is already checked by default..That's why I din't cover that point. Anyways, thanks for telling.
